Tip – Complaining at work
Boundary issues in business as in life are inevitable, When it comes to intergenerational communications, boundaries and boundary issues can come up more often and have the potential to lead to conflict. So when it comes to the millennial employee, there are so many different things we could talk about.
Millennials bring a “familial” vibe to the work environment and a much more casual way about them. They work hard and play hard. As a boss or a leader, this can be a great thing, but it can lead to you reciprocating the relationship and bantering with them like a friend.
That’s great, we all want to enjoy the people we work with. But beware about complaining. Never gripe or complain to an employee, as a leader, you need to gripe up the chain, or with your biz besties, not your staff.
